NOT LONG TO GO!

It’s all happening on the inside!

What a busy month we have had!

October has flown by and we have been working steadily to fit out the shop and cafe, with much help from many members of the local community.

We have decorated the walls and ceiling, the floors are down, the eco section is taking shape and the bespoke service counter has been made and tiled.

Last weekend all the shop shelving was assembled and put into place, and the tables and chairs for the cafe were delivered.

The electrician has been very busy installing all the kitchen equipment, light fittings, emergency exit lights and the air-conditioning unit.

Staff Employment

Interviews have taken place for the cook and baristas and we are delighted to have employed a friendly and competent team. We look forward to welcoming them to The Boundary and to our existing Village Shop crew.

The newly appointed baristas have completed barista training in London, and are looking forward to serving you your favourite beverage.

Next Week!

There is still have much to do.

The counter worktop is to be fitted and snagging will be completed. The all-important coffee machine will arrive and be installed, along with a new till for the cafe.

Staff and volunteers are to receive training in new methods and procedures, food hygiene and fire safety.

The Boundary will open on Thursday 1st December

The temporary village shop will close on Wednesday 30th November at 10am to enable us to move everything over to The Boundary. We apologise for any inconvenience.
