Who we are:

This website is provided by St MaryBourne Community Hub

What personal data we collect and why we collect it:

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When you complete the contact form on this site, your name and email address (together with any information you include in your message) will form part of the content of an email to the site editor at: info@stmarybourne.org

Cookies

Our site may store several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.

When you visit our site, Google Analytics (see below) sets a cookie to enable it to distinguish individual users, which expires after 2 years. It also sets a temporary cookie, which expires after 1 minute, to control the rate of exchange of data with its servers. The cookies do not contain any personally identifiable data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect information about the number of visits to our site. We use a standard implementation of Google Analytics, which does not store any personally identifiable information. Visitors’ IP addresses are used, where possible, to determine the area in which their device is located but the IP address itself is not data that can be accessed through Google Analytics. All data in Google Analytics is aggregated and anonymised.

Security and Spam Protection

This site employs software to protect against unauthorised login, spam and other malicious activity. Where malicious activity is detected, the IP address form which it originated will be stored.

For users that subscribe to email notifications, your email address is stored indefinitely – until such time as you unsubscribe or request that it is removed.

What rights you have over your data:

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, by emailing: info@stmarybourne.org.
